This is an excellent friendly all male Youth hostel, near to Place de la Republique and 5 minutes from Le Sacre Coeur. U can sleep with 2, 4 or 6 guys in a room. What more can u want? After the renovation they will exclude girls in their doorpolicy. Guys only! Wake-up call before 10.00AM, breakfast untill 9.15am. Bewteen 10.00 and 14.00 the hostel is closed. If u are a guy looking to meat other guys this is the place to be! :p

This hostel is a 5min walk from PLace de la Republique metro station, which has a couple metro lines going through it so getting around by metro was quick and easy. Saftey: Not so safe. There is only one key per room which has to be shared and left at reception. Anyone can just take a key cause there was hardly anyone at reception. Cleanliness: It's pretty old bulding with outdated facilities. They say they are gonne be doing some renovations, we'll see. Showers: common showers, pressure is ok, and warm usually. Lights go off automatically after about 10 min so it became a part of my routine to have to go out and turn on the light again. Breakfast: Is where they skimp the most. They have a pail of panini with a choice of butter and marmalade. Some apple thing and a selection of coffee or hot chocolate. They also have a lady there making sure you don't take a second cup of coffee. They do have a kitchen, well a fridge, a sink and a microwave, but they are filthy and the thought of putting any of my things in there made me physically sick. They also only gave u only one sheet to cover your mattress, so u have to ask to get a second one to cover yourself. Which they'll do and mumble something about forgetting to give you a second. But I spoke to several people and they all had the same story. Whatever you do don;t use the Internet there, the price was average for Internet acces in a big city, BUT it is slow and hard to type on. If you wanna meet people it's not so bad cause people do hang out in the common room, but I really only hung out in the hostel when I had to. The neighbourhood was gross as well, smelled like urine. IN the end, I'm sure you can find better.
