Had a ball when i stayed here . Its a big house with the rooms turned into small dorms (biggest is 6 beds) the guys that are running it have apparently only been there 3 or 4 months and there really easy going, as long as you don't take the mick. There's a big TV room and nice size kitchen with a couple of fridges and a real oven.....small things when you've been travelling along time most places don't have ovens! Theres plenty of plates and cutlery etc... but you do have to rent them on a deposit system which seems fair as long as you don't lose anything you get your money back so it stops people being lazy and not clearing up after themselves. The place gets cleaned twice a day as well so its always clean and tidy. The house itself could do with a bit of TLC like a new lick of paint but it kind of also adds to the charm, its nice and quiet after 11pm during the week so you can sleep and at weekends theres normally something going on in the garden, the guy who mostly runs it is a wicked DJ and normally sits out the back and gives the background music so thats quite cool. His Mrs also does a home cooked meal on a sunday to which is very good value for money! I booked for 1 Night and stayed 3weeks!

The Bluetongue is the most disgusting backpacker I ever set foot in and I've been travelling around Australia for the last four months. There is nothing good about that backpacker: unpractical narrow and very steep steps that lead to the office, carpet in the room that haven't been vacuum in what seem like months, very thin mattress and see-through sheets, small and very dirty kitchen, home size fridge that can hardly content everybody food and can't keep the food cool and, let not forget, only one toilet and two showers (well, apparently, there is 2 others bathrooms downstairs but the guy at the reception was to much in a hurry to go back to having beers with his mates in the backyard to tell me about it when I checked in). It was so disgusting that I decided to check out after one night but I didn't get a refund for the two other nights I already paid for!
