If you are looking for a good no frills hostel, this is the right place, it is 5 mins from Metro, 7-11 and bottle store. It is a renovated house where just about everything other than the Dorms are common areas. If you are into budget travelling, meeting new people and having bunch of laughs I fully recommend this place.

Fantastic hostel. I had the best time at the Hilltop, great location, close to food, shops and metro, great relaxed atmosphere, and fantastic friendly staff. I've stayed there twice now, and I'm sure I will again. Pool, foosball and video bowling in the basement add up to great times. Cheers Grego. Baz

This hostel is basically an old house converted into dorm rooms. It has a great atmosphere. The staff were nice, it was very close to the train (20 mins from city centre), hot food places and a liquor store were nearby, the internet was FREE with no bookings, large kitchen, big table to sit around and chat and socialise, nice lounge/TV area, and US$22 was cheap even though it was cash only. I didn´t use it but there was even a backyard with a hammock! I´d definitely stay there again if I had to go back to DC.
