private rooms with private bathroom, internet, location is close to cable cars, supermarket
Basically this place is ok LOCATION easy to get here by walking from the BART station on the edge of the Tenderloin, quite a good downtown location with easy access to many bus routes, cable cars, streetcars. San Fran has great public transit ROOM: my room was a private room with private bath i paid 67 a night it was cold though... but the people at the desk gave me a 2nd comforter room had 2 lockers that could be locked had my own bathroom cleaned almost daily i think many shared bathrooms and showers in the halls Cleaniness daily cleaning. adequate Kitchen Microwave, sinks, toasters, 2 large fridges so you can buy your own stuff and store it Breakfast bagel, OJ/tea/coffee, toast Internet: free WIFI and also 10 cents a minute high speed internet EXTRAs as a HI hostel in a busy place they seem to have volunteers lead tours of various themes throughout the week sometimes you have to go to another hostel in the city or meet up at a specific san fran location i never went on their tours but would have like to if my schedule worked out better Laundry 2 washers, 4 dryers and you can buy detergent there! TV only 1 station. VCR. can rent ATMOSPHERE not so great good meeting areas and common rooms but a lot of people seemed to spend all their time in the common room on their laptops surfing the kitchen in the am was better for talking to people
